LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - There is a large police presence in the area of Winburn and McCullough in Lexington right now.

We’re working to confirm the details of what is going on, but we do know an ambulance transported someone from the scene to the hospital.

FCPS officials tell us Winburn Middle School is currently on heightened alert as a precaution. However, the activity is not on the school campus.
