Video: Surprising resources offered by local libraries

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Officials with T-Mobile announced Thursday that two towns in Arkansas will receive a grant to help fund local projects.

Company officials said in a news release Ozark in Franklin County and Sheridan in Grant County are two of 25 towns picked for the Hometown Grant, which will award each town a grant of up to $50,000.

Ozark will construct an eco-friendly and ADA-accessible children’s wildlife-themed splash pad at Bank OZK Stage.

Sheridan will renovate the new Grant County Library’s children’s space, which will include new furnishings, mobile shelving and upgraded technology, according to the company.

The grant is part of T-Mobile’s five-year commitment to small towns and rural communities, which launched in 2021
