A 22-year-old Hooksett man faces charges of threatening violence against Gov. Kelly Ayotte with a weapon of mass destruction, according to a police report.
Tristan Anderson was charged with felony harm or threats to certain government officials and criminal threatening, a misdemeanor. He is being held on preventative detention, according to court records.
Anderson’s roommate told her ex-boyfriend about threats on Snapchat aimed at the governor. The man then reported the threats to Pembroke Police just before 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 28. The ex-boyfriend shared screenshots of Snapchat messages Anderson had sent to his roommate.
“I’m going to target the NH Mayor Kelly ayott,” the message reads. “With my weapon of mass destruction.”
