KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Students and staff will be returning to Arrowhead Middle School after a fire last month forced the school to temporarily relocate, Principal Larry Smith announced Wednesday.
In August, a district spokesman said a stack of wooden tables caught fire in a mechanical room near the middle school's cafeteria. The middle school has been holding classes at Kansas City, Kansas Community College while repairs were being made.
Smith said everyone will be returning to Arrowhead on Monday, Sept. 22.
He said staff will return on Friday and will be using the day to transition back to the building.
