MUNCIE, Ind. (WTHR) - Comments made about the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk continue to cause controversy.

For one Ball State University (BSU) administrator, a social media post on the matter has left them without a job.

Suzanne Swierc is the former director of health promotion and advocacy at BSU. Her take on Facebook in reaction to Kirk’s death has drawn outrage.

In the post , Swierc says in part, “If you think Charlie Kirk was a wonderful person, we can’t be friends.” Swierc went on to call his death “a tragedy” for his family, but also “a reflection of the violence, fear, and hatred he sowed.”

Ball State confirmed her termination by Wednesday.
