Today, (Wednesday, Sept. 17) we not only celebrate one of the best documents ever written, the Constitution, we also celebrated the naturalization of several new American citizens.

The ceremony was held at the Eisenhower Presidential Library in Abilene on September 17 at 11 a.m. Rep. Greg Wilson, his wife Marcia and Dickinson County Republican Party Chairwoman Debby Ponton were in attendance.

The proceedings were administered by the Honorable John W. Lungstrum, U.S. District Court of Kansas. The National Anthem performed by Kansas’ emerging artist, Dallas Pryor, and remarks by Mary Jean Eisenhower, the granddaughter of President Dwight D. Eisenhower. Also participating was Todd Arrington, director of the Eisenhower Presidential Library.
