DUPLIN COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - The Duplin County Sheriff’s Office says a traffic stop on Thursday led to the arrest of a man who had 60 pounds of marijuana.

It happened near Interstate 40 exit 373.

The sheriff’s office says 27-year-old Tyler Blackwood of Charlotte was arrested when K9 Cortez discovered the marijuana with a street value of over $150,000.

Blackwood was taken to the Duplin County Jail and placed under a $75,000 secured bond.
