EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) -- Authorities say a drug trafficking operation is dismantled in Vanderburgh County after they seized over a dozen pounds of synthetic marijuana and thousands of dollars.

Vanderburgh County Sheriff Noah Robinson says the Evansville-Vanderburgh County Drug Task Force, Evansville ATF as well as the DEA began investigating a group of drug traffickers in June. This week he says the investigation led them to three homes in Evansville.

One in the 100 block of north of Rotherwood Avenue, one in the 1600 block of Fares Avenue and another at the 4400 block of Taylor Avenue in Evansville. Officials say they searched each one and found a large synthetic marijuana manufacturing operation.
