There was an abundance of positive numbers to come out of the Milwaukee Brewers ' 5-2 victory over the Los Angeles Angels at American Family Field on Thursday night, Sept. 18.

The team's magic number to clinch its third consecutive Central Division title dropped to four with the Chicago Cubs ' shutout loss to the Cincinnati Reds .

Milwaukee is now an incredible 35 games over .500 at 94-598, a franchise record.

The Brewers have now won 19 straight games in which Quinn Priester has pitched.

Oh, and Christian Yelich is at 100 runs batted in and counting for the season after his seventh-inning double, a benchmark he'd reached only once previously – during his 2018 NL MVP campaign – and one many believed he'd never again reach after a broken kneecap late in 2019 halted his momentum
