LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Central Louisville is gearing up for a high-energy Saturday as three major events, which Louisville Metro Police Chief Paul Humphrey said are set to draw more than 150,000 people into the heart of the city.

The University of Louisville Cardinals will take the field at L&N Stadium, Churchill Downs will continue its September Meet, and the Louder Than Life music festival will be in full swing, creating a "perfect storm" of traffic and tourism in the city's central area.

For out-of-town visitors like Jess Pomeroy of Texas, no matter the distance, they will find a parking spot and walk the distance it takes to get to the live music.
