LOUISVILLE, Ky. — As Louisville faced Bowling Green State University (BGSU) on Saturday, the Cardinals made sure to welcome their opponent's unofficial mascot, Pudge the cat , in style.

"Every locker room cat needs a locker," Louisville Athletics said on social media.

Pudge received a locker, field pass, litter box, player profile, treats and plenty of toys while at L&N Federal Credit Union Stadium.

"Dear Pudge, we'd like to take this opportunity to welcome you to L&N Federal Credit Union Stadium, home of the Louisville Cardinals," a letter posted in the locker room said. "We hope you enjoy your time in the Ville. If you need anything while you're here, just let us know."
