OMAHA, Neb. —

Due to construction, part of the Terence Crawford parade route has been changed.

It will still start at 19th and Farnam streets and travel east on Farnam Street to 11th Street. From there it will head south on 11th Street to Harney Street before heading east on Harney Street. The parade will wrap up at 10th and Harney streets.

The community is then invited to attend a celebration at the Heartland of America Park.

The event is in honor of Omaha's "hometown hero."

Crawford recently became the undisputed super middleweight champion after defeating Canelo Alvarez in Las Vegas.

The parade is set for Sept. 27 at 10 a.m.
