ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Historic Pittsford is celebrating its 60th anniversary with a barn gala at Thornell Barns Saturday evening.

The event, running from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., will feature tours of the grounds, barn dancing, and a silent art auction showcasing scenic paintings of Pittsford.

"Historic Pittsford has done a tremendous job of bringing to light the importance of preserving architecture. Not just architecture but the whole landscape of earlier Pittsford. People value it so much," said Margaret Caraberisbrizze, President of Historic Pittsford.
