ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Teachers and school staff in the Rochester City School District say they have had enough of ongoing payroll issues that have left many unpaid, underpaid, or with incorrect deductions. Now, unions are demanding action.

On Thursday, Sept. 25, four unions representing different RCSD employees will rally in front of district headquarters on West Broad Street.

Rochester Teachers Association President Adam Urbanski said Friday that the district has blamed the problems on the Oracle payroll platform, while Oracle has pointed the finger back at the district.

The issues began over the summer, when employees either did not receive paychecks or were paid only partially. Problems have continued into the school year, Urbanski said, impacting not just teachers but paraprofess
