PEORIA ( 25News Now ) - Despite objections from the prosecution, a Peoria County associate judge is allowing a Germantown Hills woman to be released from jail until she’s tried for a stabbing that happened in Northwest Peoria early Friday.

The Peoria County State’s Attorney’s Office charged Nicole Keller, 23, with aggravated domestic battery for allegedly stabbing her former boyfriend in the stomach and cutting his hand.

A release from the state’s attorney’s office said police arriving shortly after midnight and found blood on the front stoop and broken glass at the residence in the 4500 block of North Rockwell Drive.
