Rutgers is down another key player for the season.

Running back CJ Campbell will miss the remainder of the 2025 campaign due to an injury he sustained in the Scarlet Knights ’ win over Norfolk State last week, head coach Greg Schiano announced following his team’s loss to Iowa on Friday night.

The FAU transfer is the eighth Rutgers player to suffer a season-ending injury, joining offensive linemen Dantae Chin and Ryder Langsdale, defensive tackle Doug Blue-Eli, wide receiver Famah Toure and defensive backs Noah Shaw, Steven Murray and D.K. Gilley.
