A former Glasgow banker is currently sailing to Gaza alongside Greta Thunberg to deliver vital supplies to Palestinians.

Saddaqat Khan is making the 1,909-mile journey from Spain on the civilian flotilla to Gaza City . The 48-year-old, who previously left his job to start his own charity supporting rural village communities in Northern Pakistan, joined the journey from Barcelona on August 31.

The boat, which is taking medics, lawyers and politicians from over 44 countries, is expected to arrive within the next two weeks. The group of volunteers say their mission is to "break the illegal siege" and open a desperately-needed humanitarian corridor, reports the Record.
