The WNBA semifinals are set, with the No. 1 seed Minnesota Lynx taking on No. 4 Phoenix Mercury starting Sunday.

The Mercury secured their route to the next round with a 2-1 win over the New York Liberty, who defeated the Lynx 3-2 in last year's finals.

Cheryl Reeves' Lynx met the Mercury in the 1st Round of the 2024 WNBA playoffs and won the series 2-0.

They will enter the series as favorites to reach their second consecutive finals, though the teams were closely matched during the regular season, with the Mercury winning the game in Phoenix 79-71 in July, with the Lynx gaining revenge a week later with a 79-66 win at Target Center.
