UPDATED with arrest: A suspect has been arrested for allegedly shooting into the lobby of Sacramento ABC affiliate KXTV ( ABC10 ), police said Saturday.

The shooting Friday, occurred one day after a protest was held outside the station over the network’s suspension of Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Anibal Hernandezsantana, 64, of Sacramento, was arrested on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, shooting into an occupied building, and negligent discharge of a firearm, police said. The motive of the shooting remains under investigation.

Officers responded to reports of shots fired at the TV station shortly after 1:30 pm Friday. Sacramento Police Officer Anthony Gamble said at least three gunshots were fired at the building from a passing vehicle.
