GLENDALE, Ariz. — A man was arrested at State Farm Stadium on Friday after "exhibiting suspicious behavior" ahead of Charlie Kirk's memorial service, according to authorities.

The man was identified as 42-year-old Joshua Runkles by the Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS).

The United States Secret Service said the man was armed.

He told agents he was a member of law enforcement; however, that was found to be untrue.

Runkles is facing the following charges:

Impersonating a law enforcement officer (Class 6 felony)

Carrying a weapon into a prohibited place (Class 1 misdemeanor)

"An investigation is ongoing to determine his intent and purpose at the stadium. Runkles has since been released on bond," DPS said.

Runkles has been book into the Maricopa County Jail.
