If anyone is living proof of this saying it’s artist Goldie Boutilier, formerly Kristen (Kay) Boutilier, of Reserve Mines.

Boutilier’s evolution from commercial pop to Parisian house diva to indie artist has brought the singer-songwriter to highs and lows often only heard about in movies.

It’s these experiences the singer-songwriter has drawn on to pen her latest full-length album, Goldie Boutilier Presents Goldie Montana; written from the perspective of her alter ego.
