Morrissey cancels two concerts over 'credible threat to life'
Morrissey has cancelled two of his concerts in the US over “a credible threat” to his life. In social media posts on Friday, it was announced that a gig, due to take place that evening at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut, and a Saturday gig at MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston, would both be axed over “recent events”.
A post shared to the official Morrissey Facebook page said: “In recent days there has been a credible threat on Morrissey’s life.
“Out of an abundance of caution for the safety of both the artist and audience, tonight’s engagement at Foxwoods has been cancelled.”
