OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Omaha police have arrested a woman after she struck a man pushing a bike on the 10th Street bridge early Saturday, according to authorities.

Officers responded around 2:30 a.m. for a personal injury crash at the bridge and found a man was walking his bicycle southbound on the bridge when he was struck by a southbound car.

The car continued southbound and struck a parked vehicle at 10th and Arbor Streets, police said.

The man was pronounced deceased at the scene. His identity has not yet been confirmed, per police.

The driver, a 21-year-old woman, showed signs of intoxication and was taken into custody and booked for motor vehicle homicide, DUI, leaving the scene of a crash resulting in death and property damage, according to investigators.
