The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County remained unchanged Saturday at $4.732, its highest amount since June 3.

The average price is 2.5 cents more than one week ago, 25.5 cents more than one month ago and 14.4 cents more than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $1.761 since rising to a record $6.493 on Oct. 5, 2022.

The Orange County average price ticked up two-tenths of a cent to $4.71. It is 1.8 cents more than one week ago, 26.6 cents more than one month ago and 19.7 cents more than one year ago. It has dropped $1.748 since rising to a record $6.458 on Oct. 5, 2022.
