Sheriff’s detectives have appealed to the public for help locating a 64-year-old woman who needs medication for a mental health disorder after she disappeared Saturday from East Los Angeles.

Juana Cruz Ramirez was last seen at 8:52 a.m. Saturday in the 200 block of Gerhart Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Ramirez is Hispanic, 5 feet, 2 inches tall, 180 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, last seen wearing a white hat, royal blue sweater, black pants and white shoes.

Her condition makes her at-risk and her family is concerned about her disappearance, sheriff’s officials said.
