DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The Xenia Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating after a 29-year-old woman died in a single-vehicle crash in Greene County on Friday afternoon.

According to the post, the crash happened on Selma Jamestown Road at approximately 3:40 p.m.

The initial investigation found a 2014 Dodge Journey, driven by 29-year-old Joanne Finch, from Springfield, was heading south on Selma Jamestown Road. She went left off the road, hit a culvert and a utility pole, then hit an embankment and overturned into a body of water.

Finch was declared dead on the scene.

The crash is under active investigation.
