it's been a day of tracking some interesting weather patterns here in the Willamette Valley, and we're looking at a dynamic forecast over the next few days. As of early Saturday, any lingering moisture seemed to be hugging the immediate coast, but we're certainly keeping a close watch on how things evolve. High pressure has been doing a great job of keeping things clear inland so far, with temperatures inland expected to reach the low 80s and staying cooler in the 60s right along the coast. We're seeing a shift in the wind pattern today, starting out from the north and northwest before turning westerly and then eventually southwest later this afternoon as a system approaches. We are expecting increasing clouds and moisture to spread inland this evening.
