DEARBORN — The boys’ soccer team at Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook-Kingswood is off to their best start in five years, having won eight of their first nine games. Included in that run was a 4-0 win at home over Catholic League rival Dearborn Divine Child earlier this month.
So when the two teams ran it back Saturday morning at Divine Child, the Cranes were trying to repeat what has worked well not only in that Sept 4 meeting, but all season long.
“We like to keep the ball and keep possession,” Cranbrook head coach Jake Nunner said. “The last time we played (Divine Child), we did really well moving the ball left to right with intensity and taking advantage of the overloads in the wide areas. We tried to replicate that today.”
