Manchester United midfielder Casemiro is set for a short suspension after he was sent-off during the first half against Chelsea at Old Trafford .

A chaotic first half saw the visitors reduced to ten men early doors as goalkeeper Robert Sanchez hauled down Bryan Mbeumo outside his area. The Reds were quick to make their man advantage count and scored as captain Bruno Fernandes broke the offside trap to poke home.

United's lead was then doubled by the Brazilian when pinball in the Chelsea area led to the ball being met by Casemiro at the back stick and he headed the ball past substitute goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen. When he scored, Casemiro was already on a booking after he caught Enzo Fernandez with a rash challenge.
