Allen Park — It wasn't flashy, and it won't make ESPN's "SportsCenter Top 10." But a three-play sequence from the Detroit Lions ' win over the Chicago Bears last weekend showed the value of Tyleik Williams.

After a 9-yard rush by Olamide Zaccheaus brought the Bears within a yard of moving the chains, Williams, a defensive tackle selected with 28th overall pick in April's draft, stuck his right arm in the air and tipped a pass on second down, causing the attempt to fall incomplete. The Bears tried a quarterback sneak on third down. It failed, as Williams ate a double-team, helping keep Chicago short.
