Brenda Tracy's sexual assault awareness nonprofit stopped receiving donations and eventually shuttered because Michigan State University did not protect her privacy when she reported harassment by former football coach Mel Tucker, her lawyers wrote in a Saturday filing.

Tracy's amended federal lawsuit comes after lawyers for the MSU trustees earlier this month asked judges to toss her original lawsuit , which claimed that the university botched her 2022 harassment complaint and leaked her name.
