Reeling from the political whiplash of the Trump administration's recent attacks against free speech, Sioux Falls residents gathered to voice their concerns.

Indivisible 605 and 50501 South Dakota organized a "With Liberty and Justice For All" rally on Sept. 20 at Van Eps Park.

About 150 people showed up, with many carrying signs stating displeasure against President Donald Trump and calling on South Dakota's congressional delegation to push back against what they view as the White House's authoritarian impulses.

The rally was also focused on opposing the Trump administration's aggressive immigrant deportation agenda and the loss of federal dollars in the state, which is forcing nonprofits like Feeding South Dakota to seek the state Legislature's aid .
