LOUISVILLE — The biggest test of the nonconference portion of Bowling Green State University’s 2025 football schedule proved to be too hard to pass on Saturday.
A pair of critical turnovers in the second quarter halted scoring opportunities, and the Falcons’ short-handed defense had a hard time slowing down Louisville’s passing attack as the Cardinals cruised to a 40-17 nonconference win at L&N Federal Credit Union Stadium.
“We played a really talented football team,” first-year BGSU coach Eddie George said. “I think we played them hard at times.
