GRISWOLD, CT (WFSB) - A 16-year-old was arrested at a Griswold High School football game on Friday night, according to Sean McKenna, Superintendent of Griswold Public Schools.

State police said the teenager was involved in a “threatening incident” and had a firearm.

The superintendent confirmed the teenager was not a student of Griswold Public Schools.

He released a statement on the matter.

No further information was released on what happened.
