NAPLES, NY — Dozens of people, including men, women, children and even a few dogs, lined North Main Street in Naples across from Naples High School on Friday, Sept. 20, holding signs and American flags during a rally organized by Turning Point USA’s Finger Lakes Region chapter .

The group gathered to demand the termination of a Naples school staff member who was placed on administrative leave following alleged social media posts about the Sept. 10 shooting death of conservative activist Charlie Kirk .

Signs held by demonstrators read messages such as “Stop the hate, educate” and “Thank you, Charlie”, while audio clips of Kirk played over a loudspeaker.
