(FOX40.COM) — Four documented gang members on searchable probation were arrested Friday night by SIU detectives in Lodi, according to the Lodi Police Department.

On the 400 block of East Elm Street, officials said detectives contacted a group of subjects and detained them without incident.

Officials reported that in total, two juvenile boys, ages 16 and 17, and two adults were arrested. The adult subjects were identified as 23-year-old Angelo Contreras and 27-year-old Martinez Galeno.

Authorities reported that detectives later located a vehicle associated with Contreras and, in a search, found a loaded handgun with an extended magazine.
