Indiana football was hosting its biggest game in decades ... and NBC made it start on Peacock. A two-hour lightning delay in the Notre Dame-Purdue game pushed it into the start time of the top 25 matchup between Indiana and Illinois, forcing the switch.

But after Notre Dame took a 56-23 lead in the third quarter, NBC flipped the two games. IU fans were quickly taking credit for forcing NBC's hand among plenty of thoughts on social media about the decisions.
