The New England Patriots will enshrine Julian Edelman into their Hall of Fame on Saturday.
Edelman spent all 11 NFL seasons with New England and spoke to reporters on Friday about his desire to play for no other team.
“I think it’s amazing to get to play my career just in New England,” Edelman said, via Patriots on CLNS. “Did I think I was gonna play somewhere else? Yeah, but didn’t want to, and thankfully, I didn’t. (Tom Brady) TB did hit me up after the Tampa thing. He just kind of said, ‘You want me to try to get down here?’ At that point in my career, I was content being here.”
Edelman is a Patriots playoff hero, recording 118 catches for 1,442 yards and six touchdowns in 19 postseason games.
