Bluejay volleyball swept USF on Saturday in the opening match of the Creighton Classic.

This was CU's third straight home sweep.

Ava Martin led the team, hitting .480 with 13 kills.

Jaya Johnson tallied nine kills and a career-high seven digs.

Creighton never trailed in set one, which they won 25-19.

A 4-0 run in the second set gave Creighton the lead.

A block from Martin and Eloise Brandewie put CU up 16-11.

The Bluejays would go on to claim set two 25-11.

In set three, USF took the 15-12 lead, but a three-point service run by Johnson would shove Creighton ahead.

The Jays won set three 25-23.

CU will be back in action on Sunday at 5 p.m. against the Jayhawks in the finale of the Creighton Classic.
