COLUMBUS, Ohio — A crash involving multiple vehicles shut down several lanes of Interstate 70 West in east Columbus on Saturday night.
Officers with the Columbus Division of Police were called just after 9 p.m. to the area of I-70 West at Interstate 270 on a report of a crash.
Police said one person was taken to Mount Carmel East and described their condition as stable.
All lanes were closed on I-70 West beyond I-70 West C-D Road at the time of the crash, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation. As of 9:25 p.m., the left lane has reopened.
According to city public safety dispatchers, callers reported between four and 10 cars were involved in the crash.
Additional details about the crash were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
