OXFORD, Miss. — With Tulane already trailing 23-3 on Saturday, Ole Miss receiver Deuce Alexander made a leaping grab along the sideline for a spectacular 35-yard gain while being double covered.

Green Wave coach Jon Sumrall scoffed on the sideline when the replay official buzzed down to make sure it was legitimate.

“That catch was wow,” Sumrall said. “Great play, a phenomenal play. When they went to review it, I told everyone on our sideline like that was a catch. I don’t know why they were reviewing it. I could tell from the other sideline.”
