STARKVILLE, Miss. (WLBT) - The Mississippi State Bulldogs dominate the second half against Northern Illinois to secure the win, 38-10, and advance 4-0 for the first time since 2014.

It was a competitive first half as the Bulldogs only held a 14-10 lead heading into halftime, but Mississippi State would turn it up in the second half, outscoring the Huskies 24-0.

Early on, Northern Illinois was able to get on the board first with a field goal, but Blake Shapen and Bulldogs would respond with a nearly six minute, 13-play, 75-yard drive capped off by a 10-yard rushing touchdown by Brenen Thompson.

The Huskies then took the lead again in the second quarter on a quick two-play drive, but once again, the Bulldogs answered with an eight-play, 48-yard drive finished off by a Blake Shapen one-yar
