GRAND FORKS — Senior quarterback Simon Romfo trotted into the end zone untouched for a 5-yard touchdown in the third quarter of UND's 58-7 blowout win Saturday over Valparaiso.

When he reached the sidelines, his twin brother, senior tight end Grant Romfo, was quick to remind him who did the dirty work up front for the score.

"Grant made a huge block for me, which pretty much just helped me walk in," Romfo said. "He’s like 'Ah, you’re welcome,' on the sideline. It was a cool moment. He's a good player, just glad to get on the field together and be able to make a play."

Romfo, a year removed from starting all 12 games for the Fighting Hawks, took a handful of snaps at quarterback against Valpo.

He completed two passes for 25 yards and rushed twice for nine yards and a touchdown.
