GORHAM N.Y. (WROC)-- Nearly a month after a massive fire ripped through the Eco Operations warehouse on Dewey Avenue in Gorham, leaving the facility in ruins, residents say that they are still facing the aftermath.
"We were just like that can't be from Gorham, and sure enough, the closer we got, the bigger it was, and we just couldn't believe it," says Madelyn Rose, an employee at Gorham Grocery located down the street from the warehouse.
Rose says that her boyfriend owns a farm nearby, which has been affected by the damage from the fire.
"We use our natural creeks and springs, which are all based through Flint Creek --that's what was on fire," she said, "So, with the cows drinking from that water it was pretty concerning."
