LINCOLN — Following a physical, closely contested Big Ten game, was an antipodal sight at Memorial Stadium. The No. 21 Michigan football team took a knee and quickly gathered with Nebraska at midfield for prayer following Saturday’s game.
Afterwards, the jubilant Wolverines made their way off to the locker room. Senior linebacker Ernest Hausmann lagged behind. Hausmann exchanged words with the longtime Cornhuskers assistant coach Ron Brown who led the prayer, then eventually headed toward the tunnel too.
His prayers answered, Hausmann bid farewell to Lincoln.
