GULFPORT, Miss. (WLOX) - Downtown Gulfport transformed into a hub of creativity this weekend with the city’s inaugural Gulfport Arts Festival.

The event brought together local artists, small businesses, and community members for a celebration of art in all its forms.

Festivalgoers browsed handcrafted creations ranging from pottery and stained glass to paintings, jewelry, and woodworking. Live demonstrations gave visitors the chance to see artists at work, adding an interactive experience to the day.

“You know, welcome to the Gulf. We love diversity down here, and there’s all kinds of different art—from pottery to hair products to lotions, all kinds of fun things,” attendee Deb Brown said.
