GREENVILLE, North Carolina – True freshman QB Bear Bachmeier used the play-action pass attack to set up the first scoring drive of the night for BYU’s offense.
The Cougars are in North Carolina for a bout with the ECU Pirates on Saturday, September 20.

The two-play drive began when Bachmeier hit a wide-open Chase Roberts across the middle for a 27-yard gain.
On the next snap, tight end Carsen Ryan sprang free for a 20-yard TD catch, his second of the season.
The TD gave BYU a 20-3 lead after it nursed a field goal lead for much of the first half.
The Cougars’ defense continues its dominance.
BYU has not allowed a touchdown through ten quarters and is the only FBS team yet to allow a TD.
