INDIANAPOLIS - An investigation is underway after three people were injured in a shooting on Indy's northwest side Saturday night.

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, just after 11:30 p.m., officers responded to the 5600 block of Georgetown Road on the report of a person shot.

When officers arrived on scene, they located three victims with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds. The severity of their injuries were not released.

Investigators said at least one person of interest was detained. No additional information was released.
