LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

Residents along Bourbon Avenue say their neighborhood has been crowded with cars as Louder Than Life crowds flooded the area — and Saturday’s University of Louisville home game only doubled the crunch.

“For the past two weeks, we do everything early in the morning,” said neighbor Renee Beard, who lives near the fairgrounds. “They’ve been this week for Louder Than Life. They’ve started parking at 10 a.m., so it’s been, yeah, we try to get everything done early.”

Simply getting back to their house has become an obstacle course.

“It was a little difficult after church getting home with driving a big truck, but we made it,” Beard said.

Beard said the location brings some perks, allowing festivalgoers to park in their yard for $25.
