The Portland Winterhawks go 0-2 on their opening weekend in Prince George, losing to the Cougars 7-2.

The Winterhawks played a better offensive game than they did Friday, but were worse defensively.

It was a weekend with very few positives, mitigated by them missing 3 of their most important players, still at pro camps.

They have a full week before their next attempt at a 1st win of the season, next Sunday in Everett.
